Last Saturday we had a going away party as it was Matt’s last weekend in Marion. It was wonderful. Seeing all those that came in one place just showed us how blessed we are with friends and family.
And it was a wonderful way to enjoy some of the last moments in our house: sitting on the deck, playing in the backyard, making food in the kitchen, snacking in the dining room, yelling about football in the living room (well, one person was…ha!)
Saturday was just a wonderful reminder of the blessing of friendship that we are leaving (but not losing!)
Good friends are like stars.
