Got my toes near the water, butt in the sand
Not a worry in the world, a cold Coke in my hand
Life is good today Life is good today.

~Zac Brown Band

Ok.  So I changed a few of the lyrics but now they really work…and it pretty much sums up Mother’s Day for me.  There’s no need to tell you every detail about my day but it was very enjoyable from start to finish.

And, like all good days since moving to Montana, we visited somewhere new.  I debate whether to even say where it was because I just might go back next Mother’s Day and I don’t want anyone there because that’s what made it so great.  🙂

Our own private beach…in Montana.  I’ll let the pictures and captions speak for themselves.

Not my typical beach attire but the shoes and socks did eventually come off. Though, without a pedicure, my toes were not picture ready.

The child was in heaven. He collected a bunch of big sticks for Matt to put in the sand.
