The day after I got to Montana the temperature was completely in the negatives, with the low being -25. So imagine my surprise when I saw A LOT of bathing suits at Target. I assumed it was for all the snowbirds who head to warmer places in the winter.
Now I’m a sucker for a Target bathing suit (and everything else in Target!), so I was even more surprised when I headed back a few days later to buy one! And slightly irritated that I had to pay full price. I won’t even pay full price in the summer!
The first activity Liam and I did while here in Bozeman was not sledding, or skiing, or hockey. It wasn’t hiking or biking. It was swimming!
We were told by two different people about Bozeman Hot Springs. At first, I didn’t even think about it. I hadn’t packed a bathing suit. But when I saw them at Target I gave it a second thought. Target had no suits for Liam but the Hot Springs actually rented bathing suits for his size and I could buy a swim diaper.
So I headed to Target to buy my swimsuit and then we headed swimming!
The place has nine different pools…some inside and some outside. All of varying temperatures (cold plunges all the way to hot tubs). Liam and I did not venture to the outside pools but I think we may when we go back next week.
So, for all those that do not want to venture out to see us in the cold months….I have something for us to do that will make you forget the outside temperature for a bit (unless of course we are in the outside pool!).
