Liam and I got to spend the weekend with Matt for the first time in four weeks!

On Saturday we decided to go to the Museum of the Rockies.  This is one of the “big” things to do in Bozeman.  It has a nice children’s play area upstairs so I know Liam and I will be there frequently.  And, for nerds like me, there’s a planetarium but I haven’t tried it out yet.

Apparently the correct name is bison not buffalo.

On Sunday we set out on “a drive”.  We left Bozeman and went on a 3.5 hour loop…”through the country”.  That’s what we’d say back home at least.  I don’t really think they say that here.  Through the mountains?  Anyway, we set out with a mission.  Matt had heard that elk and big horned sheep were “on the move”.  Again, I don’t think that’s the correct phrasing.  I clearly am going to need to learn the lingo.

But that was the mission.  Enjoy the nice winter views and try and find some of these animals.

I wish I could post the video of this. It looked like a science fiction movie.

Frozen lake.

Next weekend is Christmas.  That will be one for the books since we will have no family to visit….but plenty to FaceTime with!
